PRO 11 chief tells station commanders of DCPO to strengthen troop engagement

Police Regional Office 11 (PRO 11) Director Brigadier General Leon Victor Rosete told the station commanders of the Davao City Police Office (DCPO) to strengthen troop engagement for effective leadership.

Rosete recently met with the 19 station commanders and two force commanders of the DCPO to provide guidance and reinforce the importance of leadership in policing.

The meeting focused on operational strategies, crime prevention measures, and reinforcing discipline among personnel to ensure that DCPO remains steadfast in its mission of maintaining peace and order in Davao City.

Rosete underscored that in line with the directive of the PNP Chief, it is significant of the commanders to get to know their troops personally.

He also emphasized that effective leadership starts with understanding the needs, concerns, and capabilities of personnel to enhance operational efficiency and boost morale within the ranks.

“Knowing your people is fundamental in strengthening teamwork, ensuring accountability, and improving the overall performance of our police units. Through constant engagement and open communication, we can build a stronger and more effective police force dedicated to public service and safety,” Rosete said.

Rosete also said that PRO 11 remains committed to upholding the highest standards of law enforcement through strong leadership and dedicated service to the community.
