In time for the 35th Civil Registration Month, the Davao City Civil Registrar’s Office (CCRO) has prepared activities that will highlight the importance of civil registry.
Shirley Arendain, CCRO’s Registration Officer and Head of CCRO’s Marriage Division, said during the ISpeak Media Forum that the CCRO is planning to conduct a motorcade on February 3 to kick-off the Civil Registration Month celebration.
On February 4, an information campaign will be conducted during the Madayaw Program over city-owned Davao City Disaster Radio.
Dabawenyos may also avail of the CCRO’s services such as birth registration, marriage registration, and other civil registration services during the mobile registrations in various barangays in the city.
A Mall Tour will also be held at the SM Ecoland from February 17–23.
Arendain added that in the morning of February 18, they will conduct a user’s forum, while an enhancement training for medical record clerks will be conducted in the afternoon of the same day.
Dabawenyos are urged to practice timely registration and correction of clerical errors in their birth certificates and other civil registration documents.
