PJ Tri-Gon Realty Corporation, the premier real estate affiliate of Ulticon Builders Incorporated and developer, unveiled on Tuesday an entry statement installation at its upscale residential project Samal Shores Residenza in Barangay Limao, Island Garden City of Samal (IGaCoS).
The iconic sculpture named Language of Water was designed and made by renowned artist Jinggoy Buensuceso, serves as a gateway to the first-ever township on Samal Island.
According to Buensuceso, the installation, built at the center of the 3,000-square meter park component of the property, was inspired by the water surrounding the island of Samal.
He said that the sculpture is made of 316 stainless steel that will last for generations to come and the texture and shape of the piece is a depiction of the theatrical movement of water.
“There’s no greater inspiration than water. The sea is the way of life of the people of this island. For the people of Samal, this piece will be their constant reminder that they are molded by the movement and blessing from the sea. This sculpture is a lifetime gift of Samal Shores Residenza to the people of Samal and the people vising the island.”,” Buensuceso told the media.
Beatrice Gonzalez Magallanes, Group Senior EVP for Finance and Treasury, said the installation is more than just a traditional sign, the entry statement is an actual park that people can come and enjoy, providing a place for interaction and relaxation.
“This is a sculpture that embodies the vision and spirit of Samal Shores and Samal Island. This piece is a symbol of the township’s commitment to blend modern living with the island’s natural beauty,” she said.
According to PJ Tri Gon, the entry statement is a thoughtfully designed park space that goes beyond a typical gateway. It’s about 3,000 square meters that features landscaped gardens, seating areas, and interactive elements that invite visitors to experience the essence of Samal Shores Residenza.
Samal Shores Residenza, a 31-hectare residential estate located in Barangay Limao, will offer 500 lots.
It is part of Phase 1 of the 150-hectare township development Samal Shores.
Samal Shores is the flagship project of PJ Tri-Gon and is said to be the first of its kind on the island.
