Suntrust Properties, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Megaworld Corporation, turned over on Friday units at the first tower of One Lakeshore Drive at Davao Park District along Dacudao Loop in Lanang, Davao City.
Tower 1 is a 19-story premium residence with a total of 316 units consisting of studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom units.
Lawyer Harrison Paltongan, president of Suntrust, in an interview, said, currently only seven unsold units left at Tower 1.
The turnover ceremony was highlighted with a blessing and a tour of the property attended by buyers, prospects, unit owners, and guests.
Standing within the 11.2-hectare Davao Park District, One Lakeshore Drive is a four-tower low-density development.
The remaining towers promise to carry the same vision with newly turned over Tower 1, with total of 1,200 residential units across four towers.
Paltongan said Tower 2, which consists of 314 units, is eyed to be turned over in April this year while Tower 3, which also has 314 units, is targeted to be turned over in June or July this year.
He said they are targeting to turn over Tower 4 before December this year.
Paltongan added that Towers 2,3, and 4 are almost 90% sold out with most of their buyers from the end-users market.
“I think it’s the beauty of a township development that people here started to understand. It was also the realization that we had during the pandemic. Where you should not be traveling and everything is within reach, walk for a few meters, and it’s there. When you say township, you have your work, the BPO center, offices, you live here, you have the amenities, we have the hospital, and nearby is a mall,” he said.
Paltongan also said that the property blessing and ceremonial turnover signifies Suntrust’s commitment to redefining affordable and modern living in Mindanao.
“With One Lakeshore Drive’s first tower paving the way, Suntrust is set to deliver an elevated lifestyle, where everything is within reach and that is the true gift of being part of a township development,” he said.
One Lakeshore Drive, which is the company’s first residential development in Mindanao, is part of Davao’s first-ever live-work-play-learn township with access to a business hub, mall, and an upcoming learning center.
