Bong Go reaffirms commitment to FPRRD’s legacy amid strong survey performance

Senator Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go reaffirmed his commitment to advocating for the initiatives and legacy of former President Rodrigo Duterte.

The senator made this statement following the Social Weather Stations (SWS) senatorial preference survey conducted from April 11 to 15, 2025, where he maintained his position at the top of the rankings.

“As your Senator, I will continue to serve our fellow Filipino people because serving is my passion, and I believe that service to people is service to God. I would also like to thank you for your support for my fellow party members, the ‘DuterTEN,’ who, like me, are dedicated to continuing and upholding the good deeds of former President Rodrigo Duterte,” Go said.

According to the survey, Go garnered 45 percent support, followed by ACT-CIS Representative Erwin Tulfo with 43 percent. Senator Lito Lapid received 34 percent, while former Senate President Tito Sotto and Senator Pia Cayetano both secured 33 percent. Senator Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa rounded out the top six with 32 percent.

Also included in the survey’s “Magic 12” were Senator Bong Revilla, broadcaster Ben Tulfo, Makati Mayor Abby Binay, Las Piñas Representative Camille Villar, and former senators Ping Lacson and Manny Pacquiao.

Nicknamed “Mr. Malasakit” by his supporters, Go spearheaded the establishment of Malasakit Centers, which aim to streamline access to medical assistance for indigent and financially disadvantaged individuals and families.

“Hard work, compassion, and dedicated service are what I can offer to our fellow Filipinos. We will strive to bring services closer to our countrymen, especially medical assistance for poor patients,” Go emphasized.

He further expressed gratitude for the continued trust and support of the Filipino people, which inspires him to go above and beyond in his work, particularly for the underprivileged.

“Thank you once again to our countrymen for your unwavering trust and support. Your encouragement drives me to serve tirelessly across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Above all, I thank God for the opportunity to serve my fellow Filipinos,” he said.

The commissioned survey, sponsored by Stratbase Consultancy, was conducted through face-to-face interviews with 1,800 registered voters. It has a sampling error margin of ±2.31% for national percentages.
