The Davao City Police Office (DCPO) Acting City Director, Col. The operation, conducted in S.I.R. Phase I, Barangay 76-A, resulted in the apprehension of two drug personalities identified as alias “Jeb-Jeb” and alias “Indat,” both classified as HVIs in the illegal drug trade. The Ecoland Police Station reported that the operation yielded over P2.7 million worth of suspected shabu and a firearm.
Col. Marantan praised the accomplishment as a testament to the operational excellence and unwavering resolve of the DCPO. He also highlighted the importance of collaboration, crediting the strong partnership between the DCPO, barangay officials, the city government of Davao, and the community of Dabawenyos.
“Let this milestone serve as a beacon of what we can achieve when we are united in purpose. Our collective determination to rid Davao City of illegal drugs is stronger than ever. We are not only protecting the present, but we are also securing the future of our youth and generations to come,” Marantan stated.
He urged DCPO personnel to remain committed to creating a safer, drug-free, and more resilient Davao City. Marantan emphasized that the fight against illegal drugs is a shared responsibility that requires vigilance, unity, and action from the entire community.
“To the brave officers of Police Station 15 – Ecoland, your courage and commitment embody our oath to serve and protect. Let us remain steadfast in our mission because every step we take brings us closer to a community where peace, justice, and hope prevail. To the community, your cooperation is vital, and your support invaluable,” he added.
