Pantukan, Davao de Oro — Not even the heavy downpour could stop a historic wave of support as an estimated 40,000 people filled the rally grounds by 7:00 PM to show unwavering backing for Team BT RPG in Pantukan.
With umbrellas, tarps, and sheer determination, the massive crowd came in full force for the grand rally of the Byaheng Kalinaw campaign, a movement built on peace, unity, and genuine public service.
Led by congressional aspirant Butchoy Taojo, Congressman Ruwel Peter Gonzaga, and Governor Dorothy “Dotdot” M. Gonzaga, Team BT RPG drew chants, cheers, and raised fists from a sea of supporters who refused to let the bad weather dampen their spirit.
“Ang ulan babag lang na — pero ang gugma ug suporta sa mga tao, way makatupong ana,” said one of the team’s leaders, drawing thunderous applause from the energized crowd.
Also present were Kapitan Ebra Pinute and Hannie Trangia, running for mayor and vice mayor of Pantukan, respectively. The local bets presented their vision of a peaceful, progressive municipality anchored on good governance and strong community ties.
The event wasn’t just a rally — it was a powerful show of unity and resolve. With 40,000 in attendance, it became one of the largest political gatherings in Davao de Oro’s history.
Team BT RPG expressed heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming turnout, calling it a resounding affirmation of public trust and shared purpose.
“This isn’t just a campaign—it’s a movement. And tonight, Pantukan proved that the people are ready to ride with us toward a better future,” the team declared.
The message was loud, clear, and soaked in solidarity: Rain can fall, but the people will rise — with Team BT RPG leading the way.
