For the second time, the people of Nabunturan showed overwhelming support for Team Byaheng Kalinaw ug Panaghiusa. It can be recalled that over 30,000 supporters attended the team’s first visit last month.
Tonight, during the group’s miting de avance, an estimated crowd of more than 40,000 came together to demonstrate their unwavering support.
In his speech, Noe “Butchoy” Taojo—who is running for Congressman in the 2nd District of the province—asked the crowd if they noticed something different about their campaign.
“Wala ba mo matingala nga wala mi dala artista?
He added that even without celebrity guests, the support from the people was clearly strong and heartfelt.
Dili na ta magdugay og istorya, magselebrar nalang ta,” he declared.
Butchoy then promised that if elected, he would work to secure funding to continue the projects initiated by Congressman Ruwell Gonzaga—who is now running for governor of the province.
