“Win or lose, I will continue helping.” — Butchoy Taojo

Thousands of Pantukeños gathered in Pantukan, Davao de Oro on the evening of May 4 to witness the heartfelt message of Noe “Butchoy” Taojo during his Miting de Avance.

With loud cheers from the crowd, Butchoy declared that regardless of the election’s outcome, he will continue serving—especially the poor, the Lumad, and students.

He explained that his reason for entering politics is rooted in a deeper purpose—to help foster unity and peace throughout the province.

A known philanthropist even before his candidacy, Butchoy reiterated his unwavering commitment to continue his outreach and aid to communities—win or lose.

He was joined by Congressman Ruwel Peter Gonzaga, who is running for governor, and Governor Dorothy “Dotdot” Gonzaga, who is running for vice governor. Taojo expressed his confidence that their alliance will bring renewed hope and effective leadership to the province.

“Kabalo man mo gamay ra ni akong istorya — trabaho lang ko,” Taojo concluded, earning a wave of applause from the energized crowd.
