He also reported that 38 operations against wanted persons led to the arrest of 38 individuals, including 18 identified as most wanted, while seven separate operations against loose firearms resulted in the arrest of seven suspects, seizure of seven firearms, recovery of one, and surrender of another, with seven cases filed.

Muarip lauded the arrests as a testament to the DCPO’s unwavering commitment to maintaining peace and order in the city while upholding human rights and proper police procedures.

“These arrests show that our campaign against all forms of criminality remains relentless. The cooperation of our communities and barangay officials plays a crucial role in these successful operations,” Muarip said.

He added that the series of arrests highlights the effective coordination between DCPO units, local government agencies, and the public, reflecting the city’s collective effort to maintain a safe and peaceful Davao City.
