The Police Regional Office 11 (PRO 11) reported a major breakthrough in its intensified anti-criminality and anti-illegal drug campaign, with 90 suspects arrested and over P4.9 million worth of illegal drugs confiscated during a weeklong series of operations across the Davao Region.
According to PRO 11, between September 29 and October 5, 2025, a total of 73 law enforcement activities were conducted. These included 52 buy-bust operations, five warrant of arrest operations, six service of search warrants, two in flagrante delicto arrests, five checkpoint operations, and three police responses.
The operations resulted in the seizure of approximately 722.07 grams of illegal drugs valued at P4,910,070.56, along with 550.2 grams of dried marijuana leaves worth P66,024.
A total of 90 individuals were apprehended, including 10 high-value individuals (HVIs) and 80 street-level individuals (SLIs) involved in the illegal drug trade.
PRO 11 Director Brigadier General Joseph Arguelles commended the dedication of all operating units under PRO 11, emphasizing that the successful operations reflect the region’s strong commitment to maintaining peace, order, and public safety.
“These accomplishments mirror the dedication and vigilance of our personnel in maintaining peace and order in the region. PRO 11 will continue to intensify its operations against illegal drugs and criminal elements to safeguard our communities,” said Arguelles.
He also highlighted the importance of proactive policing, intelligence-driven operations, and community collaboration in sustaining the Philippine National Police’s (PNP’s) nationwide anti-criminality efforts.
Arguelles reiterated PRO 11’s commitment to achieving a “drug-free and crime-free Davao Region” through ongoing intelligence coordination and strengthened law enforcement partnerships.
