Some 17,000 police personnel are set to be deployed across Davao City as preparations ramp up for the upcoming Pasko Fiesta sa Davao 2025, scheduled from November 27, 2025, to January 1, 2026.

The Davao City Police Office (DCPO) has assured the public of a safe and orderly celebration.

This year’s festivities, themed “Paskong Dabawenyo, Paskong Pilipino,” are expected to draw large crowds as families and visitors flock to various Christmas attractions and events.

DCPO Acting City Director Col. Mannan C. Muarip has issued enhanced safety and security guidelines to ensure the smooth implementation of activities throughout the month-long celebration.

Muarip emphasized that their operations remain anchored on the core values of D.A.V.A.O.—Discipline, Action, Virtue, Accountability, and Order—which guide all deployments, monitoring efforts, and law enforcement strategies.

“We remain committed to serving with sincerity, professionalism, and dedication to safeguard peace, order, and security in our city,” Muarip said.

He added that proactive police visibility and close coordination with event organizers will be prioritized.

Authorities are also urging residents, visitors, and tourists to strictly follow prescribed guidelines and comply with city ordinances.

“With thousands expected to converge in key areas during peak dates, public cooperation is essential to maintaining safety and preventing untoward incidents,” Muarip noted.

City officials expressed optimism that the collective efforts of law enforcers and the community will help ensure a meaningful and secure Yuletide celebration.

“As Davao prepares for a vibrant and festive holiday season, the city once again emphasizes unity, discipline, and shared responsibility—living up to its slogan: ‘Stronger, Brighter, Happier Together! Basta Dabawenyo, D.C.plinado!’” Muarip said.
