A total of 5,008 reports lobbied through the Davao City Reports (DCR) were resolved in 2025, as part of the city government of Davao’s thrust to ensuring that the concerns of Dabawenyos are met with proper actions.
DCR, the official complaints and appreciation platform of the city government, received a total of 19,599 reports in 2025. Out of this, 8,058 were validated and filed.
Jecia Anne Opiana, DCR’s Team Leader, told the Madayaw Program’s DCR On-Air over city-owned Davao City Disaster Radio (DCDR), that the reports lobbied through the DCR are thoroughly validated resulting in almost half of reports filed.
“Daghan gyu’d ta og nareceive na reports but halos katunga lang ang atoang validated kay that’s because dili man gud pwede ta magfile og reports kung dili kompleto ang atoang detalye (We’ve received a lot of reports, but only almost half of these were validated and filed since these reports undergo a thorough validation process because we can’t just file reports with incomplete details),” she explained.
Reports sent to the DCR are validated then forwarded to the concerned offices. Clients also receive updates on the status of their report.
Dabawenyos are also urged to exercise zero tolerance towards illegal activities and issues in the community, and to report them to the DCR.
Reports may be made through the DCR’s Official Facebook Page at https://www.facebook.com/davaocityreports; or through these numbers: 0917 131 2333 and 0919 072 2222. Dabawenyos may also report through DCR’s email at davaocityreports@ davaocity.gov.ph, or through the DCR Web App at https://reports.davaocity.gov.ph/. CIO
