Mayor Sebastian “Baste” Duterte emerged as among the top picks in the latest senatorial preference survey conducted by Arkipelago Analytics.
The survey, conducted from February 26 to March 6, 2026, through face-to-face interviews with 2,637 respondents, showed Duterte along with Senator Raffy Tulfo, and Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto leading the race with 47% voter preference.
Trailing closely behind are Senator Robin Padilla, Sen. Loren Legarda, and Leni Robredo, each garnering 42%.
Meanwhile, Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano, Davao City First District Representative Paolo “Pulong” Duterte, and Sen. Francis “Chiz” Escudero posted 39% voter preference.
A cluster of candidates received 34%, including Sen. Mark Villar, Sen. JV Ejercito, former commissioner Rowena Guanzon, Education Secretary Juan Edgardo “Sonny” Angara, Makati City Mayor Nancy Binay, and former senator Grace Poe.
Senatorial hopeful Manny Pacquiao, along with Sen. Jinggoy Estrada and comedian Vice Ganda, each secured 28%, followed by TV personality Ben Tulfo and actor Dingdong Dantes with 25%.
Further down the list are Sen. Bong Revilla, former senators Francis Tolentino, Gringo Honasan, and Franklin Drilon; and former trade and industry secretary Mar Roxas, with 22%.
Meanwhile, TV host Willie Revillame, acting Executive Secretary Ralph Recto, Public Works and Highways Secretary Vince Dizon, and former Commissioner of the Commission on Audit (COA) Heidi Mendoza registered 19%.
At 16% are House Speaker Martin Romualdez, actor Philip Salvador, former interior secretary Benhur Abalos, Social Welfare and Development Secretary Rex Gatchalian, and Defense Secretary Gilberto “Gibo” Teodoro.
Candidates lawyer Jimmy Bondoc, Rep. Chel Diokno, former member of the House of Representatives Bonifacio Bosita, former senator Antonio Trillanes IV, former executive secretary Vic Rodriguez, and activist Teddy Casiño received 10% and below.
Rounding out the list with 5% voter preference are Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, former member of the House of Representatives France Castro, Palace Press Officer Claire Castro, Leody de Guzman, Dr. Marites Mata, and former member of the House Liza Maza.
The survey provides a snapshot of voter preference months ahead of the elections, reflecting a mix of incumbent officials, former government leaders, and personalities from the entertainment and media sectors.
