The Davao City Police Office (DCPO) reported that all individuals listed in the city’s Top 10 Most Wanted Persons for April and May 2026 have been arrested following an intensified police campaign.
According to DCPO, the operations were led by DCPO City Director Col. Peter Bauzon Madria and carried out through intelligence work, coordinated manhunt efforts, teamwork among police units, and help from the community.
DCPO said the suspects were wanted for serious crimes including murder, rape, robbery, carnapping, arson, lascivious conduct, and other violations of special laws.
Madria said the achievement shows the police’s strong drive to bring criminals to justice.
He also said the operations send a clear warning against criminal activity in the city.
Madria added that the campaign is not only about arresting suspects but also about making communities safer.
He emphasized that the goal is to give residents a peaceful environment where they can live without fear.
The DCPO also said the success was made possible through cooperation between police units, other law enforcement agencies, and the public.
The police assured that operations against wanted persons and other criminal activities will continue to ensure Davao City remains one of the safest places in the country.
