Philippine Seven Corporation (PSC), the exclusive licensee of 7-Eleven in the Philippines, is expanding its footprint in Davao City with 28 new stores planned in key commercial corridors, bringing its total number of outlets in the city to 119.
The expansion was discussed during a developmental meeting facilitated by the Davao City Investment Promotion Center (DCIPC) on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, between Councilor Ragde Ibuyan and PSC officers and representatives.
PSC currently operates 91 7-Eleven stores across Davao City, with 28 additional branches scheduled to open as part of the company’s growth plans in the city.
The DCIPC said the expansion is expected to generate significant local economic activity, particularly through employment opportunities for Dabawenyos.
The DCIPC said each new store is expected to employ at least 10 personnel, translating to at least 280 direct jobs once the 28 planned branches are operational.
The company also reaffirmed its commitment to complying with local regulations and working closely with city government offices to secure the permits and business licenses required for its expanding operations.
The DCIPC welcomed PSC’s continued investment in Davao City, stating that the company’s expansion supports the city’s efforts to attract and retain businesses that contribute to economic activity and employment.
The DCIPC said the meeting provided an opportunity for PSC to update the city government on its existing operations and planned investments, while strengthening coordination between the company and relevant city offices as new stores are developed.
The DCIPC added that with 28 additional branches planned, the expansion will further increase the retail convenience network available to consumers across Davao City while creating new employment opportunities for the local workforce.
