After several anticipated opening dates, the wait is finally over, Aria Hotel and Residences has officially taken its bow.
Homegrown FTC Group of Companies Corporation officially held the soft opening of Aria Hotel and Residences on Tuesday, marking the arrival of a locally rooted brand that blends refined luxury with genuine warmth, where every detail feels like a carefully composed melody unfolding in real time.
According to Colin Tan, chief operating officer and general manager of Aria Hotel and Residences, the property is being introduced in phases, gradually revealing its “core,” beginning with selected guest floors and core facilities.
“Currently, we have open only two floors of rooms, hotel rooms, and the lobby, the main lobby, inclusive of two to three Food & Beverage outlets is actually on this (3rd) floor and the ground floor. So,all together, four floors we have open for phase one,” Tan said.

For now, Aria is offering guests an early taste of it’s hospitality with around 60 rooms.
“Currently we have about 60 rooms for this initial opening,” he added.
A second phase is targeted for completion by August, which will expand the hotel’s full offering.
“That will be the rest of the other room inventory, which is roughly about 120 more rooms,” Tan said.
He also noted that the expansion will complete the full hotel concept.
The residential component on the 15th floor is also expected to open around the same period.
Tan also outlined upcoming lifestyle and dining features that add new “movements” to Aria’s unfolding experience, including a patisserie on the third floor.
“We have actually our patisserie, which is actually the pastry shop that’s going to open… we are targeting to complete and finish sometime in about one and a half months. We have a very well-known reputable pastry chef who used to be with Grand Hyatt from Manila that has just joined us,” he said.
At the upper levels, Aria is building its signature crescendo spaces, including a sky bar and infinity pool on the 33rd floor, as well as an executive lounge and fine dining restaurant on the 31st floor.
“All this will actually be ongoing on the 33rd floor level inclusive of our executive lounge, inclusive of our fine dining restaurant, which is on the 31st floor. We are targeting completion also around August,” he said.

Beyond its physical spaces, Tan emphasized Aria’s identity as a homegrown brand rooted in culture, craftsmanship, and community, an “aria” not just in name, but in spirit.
“Aria Hotel and Residences, a home-grown expression of luxury, crafted with passion, purpose, and a deep sense of place. Aria is more than a hotel; it is a reflection of who we are,” he said.
He added that the brand seeks to balance elevated luxury with warmth while contributing to local talent and community development.
“As we open our doors, we do so with humility, pride, and a promise to deliver excellence, to innovate with purpose, and to welcome every guest with sincerity and grace. Welcome to Aria Hotel and Residences, where luxury resonates from the heart and where we set ‘Life in Harmony’,” Tan said.
