PRO 11 chief hails arrest of big time drug pusher
Police Regional Office (PRO) 11 regional director Police Brigadier General Marcelo Morales lauded the Toril Police Station of the Davao City Police Office (DCPO) for arresting a big time drug pusher over the weekend.
PRO 11 spokesperson Police Major Jason Baria, said the regional director hailed the accomplishment of the troops for their successful anti-illegal drug operation.
“I assure you that we will remain steadfast on our commitment to ensure public safety and security through its relentless campaign against illegal drugs and neutralization of illegal drug personalities within the region,” Morales said.
Kaysar Sabadani Maani alias “Kaysar”, a 37 year old carpenter and a transient resident of Durian St. Manggahan, Toril, Davao City who originally hails from the Island Garden City of Samal (Igacos), Davao Del Norte was arrested by the authorities last Saturday, August 10, fell under the intensified anti-illegal drug campaign mandate of the PRO 11.
Based on records, the buy bust operation transpired at Durian St. Manggahan, Toril, Davao City at around 4: 00pm after the suspect sold ‘shabu’ to the police who acted as poseur buyer.
The authorities recovered 17 sachets of suspected shabu with estimated value of P360,000, a P1,000 mark money, and other non-drug items from the suspect who was under the Directorate of Intelligence (DI) watch list.
Kaysar is temporarily detained at the Toril Police Office for proper disposition while the recovered items were placed under custody of this office for subsequent turn-over to PDEA XI, Camp Capt. Domingo E. Leonor, Davao City for laboratory examination. Case for violation of Sec. 5 & 11 of R.A. 9165.
The authorities are preparing legal charges against the suspect.
