Alsons Properties and its comrel projects

Embodied in its corporate mission statements, Alsons Properties is aware of its social responsibility to the surrounding communities. The success of each new project is alongside the successful implementation of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs centered on Education, Environment and Housing. Alsons Properties cites some of its projects.
Alsons Properties has been actively supporting the Adopt-A-School Program of the Department of Education. It has donated a three classroom school building to Cabantian National High School . It has also done repairs and rehabilitation of Four  buildings of the Cabantian Elementary School . Cabantian is the host community of Alsons Properties’ Northcrest project. Currently, it is building a Multi-Purpose Gym for St. Mary’s Parish in response to their sports program and technical vocational training for the youth and livelihood program for the unemployed. In Eden , Toril, Alsons Properties’ Fernwood project has completed in June 2009 repairs and rehabilitation of the San Jose Elementary School ’s ten classrooms including the principal’s office, clinic and water reservoir.
Cognizant of the important role of teachers, Alsons Properties is subsidizing three teachers at the Cabantian Elementary School and one teacher at the San Jose Elementary.
For the environment, Alsons Properties partners with Barangay Council and other stakeholders of the communities in addressing the drainage and water distribution problems where needed.
As part of its Socialized Housing compliance, Alsons has donated 20.4 hectares of its Lasang property to the City of Davao . The property will be used for the City Government’s resettlement projects, where the City may partner with Gawad Kalinga or Habitat for the housing component and holistic development of the community.
Alsons Properties is the owner and developer of high-end subdivision projects in Davao City such as Ladislawa Garden Village in Buhangin, Woodridge Park and Las Terrazas in Maa and its latest projects – Northcrest in Cabantian, Buhangin and Fernwood in Eden, Toril.
