Paul Garcia and Alfredo Abundo led the winners of the recently-concluded Rancho Palos Verdes Golf and Country Club Charity Golf Tournament for typhoon victims.
Garcia finished with a 65 to win the class A net title while Abundo bagged the net crown in class B with a 62.
General Franco submitted a 63 to top the class C while Roben Ericksen’s 64 was enough for him to bring home the class D net champion’s trophy.
In the guest division, Tony Bautista fired a 70 to emerge champion while Ednel Pascual was second with a 75, and Cesar Atienza, third, with a 76.
But it was Marc Louh who was the happiest golfer that day when he scored a 61 to win the over-all net title.
Rancho’s sports and games committee chairman, Joe Marfori, and general manager Albert Casenas, turned over the more than P90,000 donation to the Philippine National Red Cross represented by Jonathan de Jesus and Janice Gancero as aid for the typhoon victims in Luzon. [Moses P. Billacura]
