Gerard Lamatan and Cynthia Jaro bagged the five-kilometer crowns of the Auto Review Run for Road Safety and Courtesy, September 29, starting at the Gaisano Mall of Davao.
Lamatan clocked 16 minutes and 10 seconds to beat JR Emmanuel Leonor by 39 seconds to bring home the men’s crown while William Guihiling crossed the finish line in 16:59 to finish third.
Jaro ran the fastest in 18 minutes and nine seconds to rule the women’s division while Chrysel Cuming arrived after 19 minutes and seven seconds to finish in second. Criselyn Jaro took the third spot in 20:49.
Anthony Nerza and Monaliza Ambasa dominated the 10-K category of the race backed by Goodyear Philippines and organized by Vantage Sports Promotions. [Moses P. Billacura]
