Black and White Teams scored contrasting victories at the start of the Mayor Rody-Inday Sara All-Media Basketball Tournament, December 19, at the Davao City Recreation Center.
Allan Abais of ABS-CBN Davao topscored for Black with 32 points while Alfred Saguran of Radyo Rapido added 26 points even as Jun Digamon of GMA Davao scored 22 points to help overwhelm the Red Team, 100-88.
Sammy Baug of Radyo Rapido led the Reds with 22 points while Rico Biliran of Mindanews added 19 points.
The White Team drubbed the Green Team, 73-53, with Benieboy Angchay of ABS-CBN canning in 21 points to spearhead his team to a debut win.
