Pasquil tops Japanese Chamber Charity golf

Lawyer Larry Pasquil topped the Japanese Chamber of Commerce of Mindanao Inc. Charity Golf Tournament, November 28, at the Davao City Golf Club.
Pasquil, a member of the club’s board of directors, relied on his familiarity with the course to score a net 65 and post a one-shot victory over Willy Vidanes. Rodrigo Rizon settled for third place with a 67.
Benhur Villarosa bagged the gross title with a 77.
In the special prizes category designed by the organizers, 11th prize went to Stella Patruno who scored a 70 while Yoko Kobayashi submitted an 86 for the 28th spot prize.
The other special prize, called the Bobby Prize, went to Rin Celeste. The 11th stands for the month of November while the 28th represents the day of the tournament sponsored by Nakashin Davao International Inc., Paglas Corp., Soriano Fruits Corp., Nakayama Technology Corp., Morado Farms and Trading Corp., Sumifru Phils.Corp., Tanton Relaxation Centre Corp., Davao Central Chemical Corp., Akiko Japanese Restaurant; Aquino Coliseum Gallera, Tadakuma (Ramen Tei) Japanese Restaurant, Braintrust Project Consultancy Inc., and CRK International Language Center. Officials from the Davao City Social Services and Development Office attended the ceremony to receive support from the Chamber.
Japan Consul Yoshiyuki Isoda and wife Hisae of Japan graced the awarding ceremony and met with officials of the Japanese Chamber of Commerce. [PR]
