Golfer of the Week – Miguel Luis T. Morada

Miguel Luis T. Morada does not talk too much and in the fairways, he is starting to be somebody.
The eight-year-old just got introduced to golf by his grandfather, businessman-golfer Monching Tam.
The grandfather has no children playing golf and so he has focused his energies on his grandson, who plafully took up the sport.
And in just a short period of time, Miguel Luis won in the junior’s division of the Rancho Palos Verdes Golf and Country Club Monthly Tournament.
“I am just around to encourage him play while he is still young,” said Monching.
It all started with getting to know with the golf equipment, then learning the swings, getting curios of the dimpled ball.
“Until he started going with me at the golf course.Fortunately, he starts enjoying it,” said the grandpa.
Studies, of course, is a priority for he wanted Miguel Luis to be educationally-equipped by the time he becomes a businessman like him.
“Or whatever he likes to be. Golf as a sport is a very good sport. It teaches you to be patient, to have good calculations and I want our Miguel Luis to be like that,” said Monching.[MPB]
