Holiday Gym & Spa holds 4th ‘healthy living walk’

Holiday Gym and Spa, the premiere health and wellness venue in Davao City, has continued to live by its slogan of “Campaigning for Healthy Living”.
As part of renewing this commitment to the campaign, HGS held the 4th Annual Healthy Living Walk last March 28 with Victoria Plaza Car Park as the starting point of the walk and the end point at the Holiday car park where snacks were served. The event brought participants to major thoroughfares as part of the goal of achieving 10,000 steps for a day.
The Healthy Living Walk serves as promotion to get things started the healthy way. And the best and easiest way to do this is by simply walking! Count yourself in and be proud to say…”Healthy Livin’, Count Me In!” Now on its fourth year, the difference for this year is that HGS will include another cause to its walk.  Aside from health reasons, the walk is also aimed to raise funds for the Davao Children’s Cancer Fund, Inc-House of Hope. The amount gathered from the registration will be duplicated by HGS and will be donated to DCCFI-House of Hope.
Delegates and participants were encouraged to carry banners declaring their support for healthy living.
The participants were also given free day passes at HGS and other perks from expected sponsors.
The Healthy Living Walk not only campaigns for healthy and active living but also assists the House of Hope in its mission to bring hope, promote better survival rates and achieve excellent, holistic care for children with cancer.
