Participants in the Kadayawan Golf Cup 2010 to be held at Apo Golf and Country Club will be entitled to free swing check (video swing analysis) from Golfmix instructors led by US-trained and certified golf coach Chris Guerrero.
The free swing check may be availed of by players during the weekend on a first-come, first-served basis, or they may transfer the privilege to any immediate family member. Through this unique offer, Apo Golf and Country Club will help the club members, their family members and other golfers improve their swing and have a better game.
The Kadayawan tourney set on August 7 and 8 will use the two-player scramble format (best ball). Team of two plays the better ball on every shot until they hole out. Each team may choose to play 18 or 36 holes, the best 18-hole round to count. The teams will be classified according to the lower handicap among the team members and will be grouped into Classes A, B, C, Ladies, Juniors and Seniors divisions.
Aside from the free swing check, the entry fee of P5,000 per team includes 18-hole round, caddie fees, giveaways (locker bag, cap and golf balls), meals during awarding, raffle, and a chance to win hole-in-one prizes. First 88 teams to register before July 18 will receive a limited edition Kadayawan Golf Cup premium golf umbrella.
Since this is AGCC’s way of celebrating the festival month of Davao City, organizers assure that only premium giveaway items will be provided and exciting hole-in-one prizes and major raffle prizes will be at stake to make this tournament a remarkable one for all Apo Golf Club members, their guests and tourists from different parts of the country.
Event beneficiaries are Rotary Club of Matina Davao and Rotary Club of South Davao to support their projects for Diego Silang Elementary School and Mary Immaculate Conception, respectively, and the community projects of Junior Chamber International-Davao Regions.
