Tadeco kids sparkle in 2nd Nat’l Milo Little Olympics

The Tadeco lawn elementary girl’s lawn tennis team won the gold medal in the 2nd National Milo Little Olympics at the Don Gregorio A. Pelaez Sr. Memorial Sports Center in Cagayan de Oro City last October 17-18.
It was the second time that the kids joined the tournament and their first time to qualify for the national finals. They easily rolled over first opponents from Luzon on a score of 3-0 and repeated the whitewash over the NCR kids, 3-0, in their second match. They followed that with a win in the finals against the stubborn Visayas team, 2-1, for their first gold in this year’s lawn tennis for elementary girls category.
Desse Rie Vistal of the Davao team bagged the Most Outstanding Athlete in lawn tennis award, a bonus for the team composed of Precious Cayanong, Kimberly Salvo and Khrizzan Dumlao. They were coached by Maria Victoria Gloria and Julie Tabsing.
The elementary badminton girls also qualified for the national finals.
Tadeco kids’ latest achievement was made possible by solid support from management through the Tadeco Sports Development Program. They were trained by Prospero Palma Gil and Kristoffer Joy Pulumbarit.  [Honey A. Wong]
