Noe Taojo is one of the active members of the Davao Eagle Masters Inc., composed of businessmen who organize annual golf tournaments set in September to raise funds to support poor but deserving students to college and to build Day Care Centers.
Golf, actually, is not Noe’s cup of tea, but when he took up the sport a few years back, he quickly learned to enjoy it. There were a lot of difficult times, but such trials became lighter because of the company of good friends.
Every weekend, Noe gets excited to play golf at the Rancho Palos Golf and Country Club, his home course, where he can de-stress himself after attending to various business ventures as president of the Tagum-based Philcrest Development Corporation and the Davao United Miners Cooperative.
Playing golf allows him to temporarily forget the worries that come with running a business, at least for a day or two, and after that he would be back at the workplace attending to various concerns.
But, despite his busy schedule, Noe has virtually kept a very low profile and yet very active in supporting various community projects in the Davao region. Noe, like his Davao Eagle Masters Inc. buddies, easily extends a helping hand if the project is for the good of the community.
That always puts him in a good mood and a round of golf with friends can make his day complete. [Moses P. Billacura]
