Aside from photography and travelling, playing golf has been one of his favorite activities.
And don’t be surprised that he has become a better golfer, judging from the trophies and team titles he won, including the recent Dynasty Cup victory at the Rancho Palos Verdes Golf and Country Club where he suited up for Amiya Residential and Golf Resort Team.
Whenever there is a team competition, friends automatically call on Noel to help the team craft its way to victory.
The area manager for Mindanao in the bingo department of the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (Pagcor) is just another of those friendly guys at the golf course, no wonder friends like to hang out with him.
His friendly disposition, though, is not all there when he playsi golf which he takes seriously.
Blame it on his still being young. This 1996 management graduate of Ateneo de Davao University wants to learn from all the mistakes he commits while playing the game. He simply wants to come up with a better game the next time around.
No wonder Amiya team captain Bobby Wee took him into his team with a winning formula.
Noel would always wait for the right time to contribute to any team that wanted to see action and end up a winner.
For him, playing golf—aside from getting the health benefits from it—is one way of gaining friends and along the way yell, BINGO!, which means winning another golf title. [Moses P. Billacura with Philip Daytic]
