The Davao City leg of the 2nd Tropang Growee National 3-on-3 basketball tournament is on November 6 to 7 at the Victoria Plaza Mall.
Tournament director Rael Diaz said all schools were invited to join the tournament and vie for a spot to the national finals on December 19 at the Ateneo de Cebu-Mango campus gym. Pediatrica Inc., makers of Growee Vitamins, will shoulder all expenses of the team.
Cagayan de Oro will have its elimination round on October 23 to 24 at the Xavier University gym and the champion will play against the Davao winner for the Mindanao region title.
Luzon will have elimination rounds in Pampanga on November 13 to 14, Laguna on November 20 to 21 and Manila on November 27 to 28.
The Visayas eliminations will be in Iloilo on December 4 to 5, Bacolod on December 11 to 12 and Cebu on December 18 to 19.
Diaz said they will follow a first come, first serve rule to accommodate the 60 teams per city eliminations.
