He is a young businessman in the company of more experienced businessmen in Davao City.
Sherwin Bahani is heavily engaged in collecting scrap metals and sending these to a plant for processing.
You can say that Sherwin has no qualms in getting his hands dirty as long as this translates to money.
His humble business endeavor, though, has kept him busy these days but this has not deterred him from taking up a sport where businessmen, small-time or big-time, gather and enjoy each other’s company.
Sherwin took up golf because it is where he finds the needed connections and fellowship with other young businessmen who themselves are wanting to make a mark of themselves.
While he intends to remain low profile like his buddies, his recent victories in golf tournaments have been noticed by other businessmen-golfers.
Despite his young age, Sherwin gets a regular call from senior businessmen for him to join their team in tournaments for they know that he will play seriously and always wants to contribute to the team’s victory.
That’s what happened when he played for the Amiya Golf and Residential Team that won in the Dynasty Cup at the Rancho Palos Golf and Country Club.
His teammates led by team captain Bobby Wee were happy to make him part of the squad.
And Sherwin is grateful that despite being new to the game, he has been treated like just a long, long time buddy and golfer. [MOSES P. BILLACURA WITH PHILIP DAYTIC]
