Rancho Palos Verdes Golf and Country Club placed second in the nationwide11th Sta. Lucia Tour that finally wrapped up on November 6 at the Eagle Ridge Golf and Country Club in Cavite. Eagle Ridge Golf and Country Club totalled 192 points (42-48-49-53) in the four-leg event. The Davao golfers assembled 166 points coming from 60 points at their home course, 26 at Alta Vista, 40 at Orchard and another 40 points at Eagle Ridge.
Alta Vista of Cebu finished third with 127 points (40-30-27-30), followed by Beverly Place with 118 (21-33-32-32), Royale Tagaytay with 109 (21-39-24-25), Summit Point with 83 (30-19-17-17), Lakewood with 43 (8-14-14-7) and Caliraya Springs with 18 (4-2-6-6).
Josue Tesado and Eugenio Serado Jr. topped Group 3 with 508 points, but teammates Vincent Gumapac and Ronald Galicia placed only second in Group 1 with 531 points and Carlito Dublan and Diemy Monedero managed to clinch third place in the seniors division. Eduardo Wee took first runner-up honors in class B won by Alta Vista’s Joung Soo Choi “David” Park and Serado wound up second in class C after losing to Raymundo del Rosario of Eagle Ridge.
