RunClub Davao, the city’s running specialty store, has opened its doors to all runners wanting to register for various competitions lined-up this year.
Ester Mae T. Rollorata, sales and marketing assistant of Sports Town Inc., said four races are scheduled early this year and runners can conveniently join the list-up at their store located at Plaza del Carmen, Loyola Street, Bo.Obrero.
“They can also check our bulletin for more updates about running,” said Rollorata adding that they now introduced to runners a new way of checking their foot type called “foot disc”.
Run to Serve is on January 16, followed by a Run for Healthy Living on January 30 while the High Five for Healthy Lifestyle is on February 6, the anniversary date of Metro Lifestyle.
RunClub Davao also served as the list-up center in the recent Cebu City Marathon where 18 Davao runners took part that included Anthony Nerza and Mona Lisa Ambasa, who were outfitted by New Balance through national sales manager PJ Pilares and Monchit Mackay of RunClub Davao.
Nerza and Ambasa topped the RunClub Davao-New Balance race in November that earned them an all-expense paid trip to the Cebu City Marathon. [MOSES P. BILLACURA]
