Myrna Valdez is president of the MPV Asset Management Company, officer of the multi-awarded Davao City Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc. and a golfer.
Her expertise on financial matters have found her way to becoming an active member of the DCCCII, a non-stock, non-profit business organization that supports the business community in the city in order to improve the economic situation.
She deals with clients who are into problem with credits, gives expert advice on joint ventures, equity participation, bond floatation and more.
When she can have the time, playing golf is the best respite for her to forget the stresses of life, for awhile. The golf course is an entirely different scene where you don’t deal with a lot of numbers but simply a place where the beauty of nature is enjoyed to the fullest in the company of colleagues from the Chamber and friends.
The Chamber, just recently conducted its election of officers under a lady president Dr.Maria Lourdes G. Monteverde and Myrna took on a new role as corporate treasurer after serving as trustee. They face another year full of challenges but challenges are things that Myrna is ready, all the time just like facing another challenging par-5 or par-3.
