Deo Cura and Jeff Ramirez played better than the rest to snatch the over-all titles of the recently-concluded 10th Sonny Razon Golf Classic at the Rancho Palos Verdes Golf and Country Club.
Cura fired a 69 for the over-all net crown while Ramirez, second in command of Cortess Printing Corp., sizzled with a 75 for the over-all gross title.
In class A, youthful Martin Castillo finished the round with a 70 for the net title and bested Jun Serado by two strokes. Nick Salvador had also a 72 but lost via countback to Serado.
Ting Castillo shared the limelight with Martin when he took the class B crown with a net 71 and posted a one-stroke victory over Josue “Joe” Tesado. Nick Salvador placed third.
Rey Jampit won the class C title with a net 72 while Benjor Mongao landed second and Nonong Tan at third, respectively with similar 74s.
Dol Zynal ruled class D with a 74 while Jun Pascua finished 1st runner-up and Francis Celis bagged the 2nd runner-up honors. [MPB/Philip Daytic]
