Another young Dabawenya making waves in the international golf circuit is Sarah Ababa.
The former Apo Golf and Country Club mainstay has joined the International Container Terminal Services Inc. golf team and recently partnered with Jayvie Agojo in Christchurch where they won the 2011 New Zealand Foursomes Championship.
Ababa comes from the golfing Ababa family and just like any other member of the golfing clan, Sarah is willing to work hard on her way up.
After runner-up finishes in various tournaments, Sarah with partner Jayvie brought honor to the country by making waves in New Zealand.
She hopes that there will be more titles to win in the coming tournaments.
Aside from making her family happy, ICTSI top honcho Ricky Razon and the coaching staff will be sporting big smiles should the young Dabawenya continue to reap titles abroad.
ICTSI has been supporting Ababa and other young golfers by regularly sending them abroad to compete against the best amateur players to hone their skills and take a crack at winning an international crown. [MPB]
