If you want to learn about sports management, then join the Mindanao Sports Management Seminar on August 18 to 20 at the Brokenshire College’s Bahay Alumni in Madapo.
The resource speakers are Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) commissioner Chito Loyzaga, Dr.Arnel Pineda of the Philippine Center for Sports Medicine, sports columnist and organizer Neilwin Joseph Bravo, former PSC chairman William Ramirez and Dr.Arlene de Vera.
The seminar covers topics like “Sports in the Philippines”, “Sports Medicine”, “Development in Sports Science”, “Sports Communication and Mass Media”, “Sports as a Global Force: The Olympic Movement”, “Managing School Sports: the Brokenshire Program”, “Sports Planning”, “Sports Marketing”, “Introduction to selected school sports events”, “Developing a School Sports Program”.
“This is a signature workshop for all our sports frontliners to update and be involved in the latest events famous among private, public schools and universities which is now making a name,” said de Vera, Women’s NCAA director for Mindanao and Brokenshire’s sports director.
Dr. de Vera will also be facilitating an organizational meeting for the Women’s/Men’s National Collegiate Athletic Association.
