Vincent Floirendo is vice-president and managing director of the Antonio Floirendo Sr. Group of Companies or Anflocor who loves to play golf.
He was quite visible in Davao City when Abreeza Mall formally opened as Anflocor officials attended the ceremony with Ayala Land top honchos from Manila to welcome Dabawenyos to the newest shopping mall in town. Accendo Commercial Corp., a joint-venture of Anflocor Group and Ayala Land, operates the brand new mall.
He may not be one of the outstanding amateur golfers to date but he has had some chances of winning some trophies to his delight.
Other than working for the family-controlled corporation, Vincent serves as barangay captain of Brgy .Adecor in the Island Garden City of Samal (Igacos) and in a bigger role, as president of the association of barangay captains in Davao del Norte province.
He has been busy doing several community projects like Operation Smile in partnership with other groups in the province to deliver services needed by the public.
And if he gets the needed break, he goes to the golf course while if it’s a longer break, he competes in the Philippine GT Championship Series.
