Team Philippines failed to duplicate its recent victory against the United States, dropping two straight matches in the 2012 Homeless World Cup Wednesday (Thursday morning Manila time) at the Plaza de la Constitución in Zócalo, Mexico City.
The Filipinos lost first to Peru, 7-3, before yielding to Denmark, 7-4, in their second match of the day.
Last Tuesday (Wednesday morning Manila time), the Philippines nailed a 6-4 victory against USA to open their campaign in the secondary stage of the tournament.
The losses put the Filipinos in fourth place of Group F with only a win to show behind leaders Denmark, Cambodia and Peru. USA is in fifth place, while Finland, which has not won any match, is at the bottom of the bracket.
Team Philippines will next face Finland on Thursday (Friday morning Manila time).
