On Saturday, somebody’s ‘O’ has got to go.
The league’s unbeaten teams will stake their unblemished records as the1st Emilio D. Escandor Cup resumes this Saturday at the RMC Gym.
Bracket B leader Agro-Industrial Foundation College Baby Sailors will go up against dangerous Ateneo de Davao University Blue Knights to open the exciting matches at 8:00 a.m. The Baby Sailors tote a 2-0 record to stay atop Bracket B of the Juniors Division, a game ahead of Ateneo (1-0).
In Bracket A, co-leaders Holy Child will tangle with Assumption College of Davao at 9:30 a.m. Both teams won their first outing for a 1-0 card.
In the Passerelle Division, second-running Ford (2-0) will battle Holy Child (1-0) at 11:00 a.m. A Ford win will lift them to a tie for the lead with idle Ateneo which sits atop the leaderboard with an immaculate 3-0 slate.
For the final match of the day, Holy Child (2-0) will clash with rival Ateneo (1-0) in the Mini Division.
The tournament is organized by the Royal Mandaya Hotel and sanctioned by the Samahang Basketbol sa Pilipinas (SBP) regional chapter.
