After 4 Filipinos qualified for the Round of 16, only one remains standing in the finals of the inaugural WPA Players Championship at Griff Billiards in Las Vegas, Nevada.

2017 World 9 Ball champion Carlo Biado survived a rough semifinal match against Taiwan’s Chang Yu Lung.

Chang trailed Biado 6-3 but the Filipino made some costly errors in the ninth rack that let the Taiwanese cut the lead to 5-4.
