Youthful EJ Casintahan bagged the overall gross trophy of the 14th Pomelo Tee at the Rancho Palos Verdes Golf and Country Club which on Sunday.
Casintahan added the Pomelo Tee trophy to his growing collection although he had to earn it by the skin of his teeth in a countback win by a score of gross three over par 75. Jomari Amador joined him in the winner’s circle after taking the overall net championship of the RPV signature club tournament with a net 97.
Gemma Bokawachi reigned supreme in the Ladies division after taking the gross title with a 50 while Ok Hee Park was net champion with an 82.
Veteran Karloz Alba took home the Class A gross trophy with a 74 while Albert Cainghug ran away with the net title with an 87. In Class B, Bong Hee Lee copped the gross trophy with a 72 while Stephen Sandoval took the net crown with a 91 scorecard. The Class C gross title went to Don Zamora with a 57 while the net plum went to Boyet Sonico with a 92.
Roudnding up the winners were Class D gross champ Martain Sara with a 49 and net winner Rico Rebigan with a 95.
The Pomelo Tee, played from May 1-4, is the official annual club tournament of Rancho Palos Verdes.
