IRON EIRRON Davao City tanker wins 3 golds, 1 bronze

Fresh from a silver medal haul in the 2019 Palarong Pambansa, Eirron Seth Vibar of Davao Region made a ripping performance with three gold medals and a bronze in the 2019 Private School Athletic Association (PRISAA) National Games high school swimming competition held Tuesday at the Davao del Norte Sports and Toursim Complex swimming pool.

Eirron Seth Vibar won three golds and a bronze medal in the ongoing PRISAA National Games.

The 17 year-old tanker from Apo Learning Village emerged the toughest in the boys 400 LC meter individual medley, boys 200 LC meter freestyle and boys 1500 LC meter freestyle events while placing  third in the boys LC meter butterflly event on the same day.

Vibar, son of the owners of Mad Wave swimming apparel Rowena and Ronnie, clocked a total of 5 minutes and 4.36 seconds to take the 400m event gold medal over Jordan Lobos of Region 4A (5:06.03) and Leonardo Dalman of Region 9 (5:07.69), who occupied the next two spots.

In the 200m freestyle category, Vibar secured an actual time of 2:07.45 to edge Kent Franzen Cagape of Region 7 (2.08.13), and Geoffrey Liberato of Region 3 (2:09.58) in a close contest.

Vibar bagged his third gold medal after winning the long swim by checking in at 18:15.31, outclassing Andre Lois Valencia of Region 7 (19:12.82) and Ronal Kent Sta. Ana of Region 6 (19:25.09).
