Escandor Cup Collegiate Sponsors League opens Sunday

Brace for the biggest men’s collegiate basketball tournament in Davao City this year as Escandor Cup stages the Collegiate Sponsors League (CSL) which tips off on Sunday, October 13, at the Davao City Recreation Center.

Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) Davao executive program officer and league chairman Ronel Leuterio said the hoopfest was intentionally organized to provide avenue for the collegiate teams in Davao Region as the organization believe that the road for aspiring hoopsters towards their dreams begins in pocket tournaments like this.

He also announced that the top tertiary basketball teams are up for the crown that comes with an outright slot to the Philippine Collegiate Champions League (PCCL) Mindanao Finals slated most likely in January in Davao City.
