Nabunturan United FC-A streaked to three wins over the weekend to lead the big gainers on Matchday 2 of the AIA Philam Life 7s Davao Football Tournament at the Azuela Cove pitch.
NUFC-A remained unbeaten in five matches in the Under 11-A Bracket with three wins for the day after clobbering Rovers FC 11-0 and then returned to the pitch later to beat Amigos United 5-3 and Southshield Red 2-0. Amsai edged FAMAH 4-3 and Southshield Red 2-0 for two wins, Amigos United then came back with back to back wins over Rovers FC 6-3 and Famah 6-0.
In the Under-11 B Bracket, Davao Hyenas also went perfect three for three for the day with wins over Black Knights 2-0, Crics FC 5-0 and NUFC-B 7-0.
Other results showed Southshield Blue beat Crocs FC 5-0, Panabo United over Ricspeed BUkas Palad 2-1, Southshield Blue blank NUFC-B 8-0, Black Knights edge Ricspeed 2-1, Southshield Blue blank Black Knights 2-0 and Panabo United drub NUFC-B 5-0.
In the U-15 division, Southshield Blue and Ateneo JHS-A stayed atop the standings with 4-0 records after scoring a pair of wins each. Southshield Blue defeated Ricspeed Bukas Palad 6-0 and Ateneo-B 4-1 while Ateneo A turned back Ricspeed 4-0 and NUFC 4-3. Southshield Red beat NUFC 1-0 and Amsai Stalwarts 6-0 to stay at 3-1. Amsai got one W after beating Ateneo B 2-0.
In Men’s Open action, RMC United scored twin wins to tow the field. The Bulldogs beat FCFC 6-2 and Orlando FC 6-3. CR7 Foodtruck nipped Cathiana Hearts 4-3, Orlando FC beat Solido FC 5-1, Davraa defeated RMC Rookie 4-1 and CR7 1-0, RMC Rookie edged FCFC 6-5 and Solido turned back Cathiana Hearts 8-4.
In the Women’s Open, CR7 remained undefeated with wins over Ateneo 9-0 and Solido FC 3-0. DDS Khanj beat Rebels 3-1, Solido clobbered Rebels 5-1, and RMC blanked DDS Khanj 2-0.
