The Davao ICon (Davao Investment Conference) to be held at the SMX Convention Center, SM Lanang, Davao City will kick off with the staging of an invitational golf tournament will be held at the Rancho Palos Verdes Golf and Country Club on July 17.
“We are expecting some 50 teams from among the delegates and invited guest to participate on this invitational tournament” says John Naranjo, the tournament Chairman.
Golfers are classified into Class A, B, C, Ladies and Senior’s Division. The tournament will be an individual and team competition (2 players per team). The aggregate score of the 2 players will determine the team score.
The tournament will be using the System 36 format.
This much-awaited conference is a big opportunity for companies and investors to build camaraderie, meet fellow businessmen, a chance to grow and strengthen business relationships and friendships and an opportunity to reinforce their product brands.

Tournament registration is pegged at P8,000 for non-delegates and P 12,000 special Package Price for Davao Icon Delegates (Davao Investment Conference Fee + Golf Invitational Fee). Registration covers the green fees, give aways, meals throughout the tournament, ticket for the raffle and dinner at the awarding ceremony at the Waterfront Insular Hotel and Resort and Casino.
