One of summer’s much awaited golf tournament in Davao is back and will be held in conjunction with the annual celebration of Father’s Day.
Dubbed as Forever Golf 3.0 by The Forefathers Golf Association Inc., this tournament is in celebration of its third edition of providing fun and exciting golf every summer. This will be held at the rolling Rancho Palos Verdes golf in Mandug, Davao City on June 15 and 16,2024.
The 18-hole tournament using the Modified Stableford system will have a one free practice rounds for all participants before the two shotgun starts on the two-day tourney. There will be two categories for the winners, Team and individual play.
“We are expecting around 350 golfers; breaking our attendance last year that’s why we are transferring to a much bigger area for our awarding and fellowship night. As usual we will be offering fabulous raffle prizes and hole in one prizes to all the golfers “said Paul Garcia, tournament director.
Golfers are classified into Men’s Class A (0-9), B (10-19) and C (20-27 max), Seniors and Ladies. There will be gross and net champions and runners up in each category with a separate prize for the team Champion and runner up. Team Division 1(0-14 average handicap) and Division 2(15 and above, average handicap)
Proceeds of this tournament will benefit the House of Hope foundation.
The registration is pegged at 5,000 pesos which includes practice round, raffle ticket, dinner and a gift certificate worth 3,000 pesos acceptable to all Nike outlets in the city. Hole in One prizes awaits lucky golfers in all Par 3’s which will have more than one pin each hole. Hole in prizes includes Jetour Dashing Mini SUV, Yamaha Golf cart, gun Pistols, Air gun and Air conditioning unit system.
This tournament is co presented by the Angcore Motors, Fore the Boys,Coco Gen, Omerta Bistro and Lounge with Edge Davao as media partner.
