Looks like there is no antidote for the winning virus youngster Zeus Sara has. It’s a virus he is happy to have.
Sara added the 15th Pomelo Tee at the Rancho Palos Verdes to his latest collection of hardware taking the overall gross championship with an aggregate 118 in the annual club showpiece last May 1-4.
Matching Sara’s swashbuckling performance was Tristan Puentespina who took home the overall net title with a solid 124.
In the handicap class categories, Simeon Gonzales (113) took the net title in Class A while Timothy Co (110) bagged the gross trophy, Ronnie Magsico (net 118) and Rene de Manuel (gross 93) were Class B winners, Ed Guevarra (net 117) and Mendrado Canusa (gross 83) were tops in Class C, and Neil Canedo (net 107) and Alok Fong (gross 83) were Class D victors.
In the Senior Division, Louie Rabat (118) won the net diadem while Eugene Chiong (99) nabbed the gross crown. Myrna Enriquez (120) won the Ladies net trophy with Ma. Victoria Herrera (120) taking the gross title.
