It’s all systems go for the 5th Beehive ChariTee golf tournament on July 27,2024 at the rolling Rancho Palos Verdes Golf and Country Club.
The 18-hole individual stroke play golf tournament expects the attendance of 160 players who will be using the Molave Scoring system with reference to the NGAP handicap Index as of June 2024. There will two shotgun starts one at 6am and the other at 11:30am.
“With the success of our tournament last year in which we were able to sponsor patients with cleft palate for surgery as major beneficiaries, we are committed again this year to include our youth and Medical Mission projects as our main beneficiaries” said Roderick Lo, tournament overall chairman.
Players will be classified into four (4) categories Class A, B, C, and Ladies with trophies to be awarded to the Gross/Net champions, and runners up per category with additional prize for the Overall Gross and net Champions.
Registration is pegged at 3,500 pesos that includes the green fee, mulligan (one per 9), water and snack pack, give away, raffle ticket and buffet dinner during the awarding fellowship to be held at the South Pacific golf clubhouse right after the tournament.
The organizers are expecting the attendance of 160 golfers to vie for honors for this event of which majority will be from members of local clubs but also received commitments from golfers coming from neighboring cities like Gen Santos City, South Cotabato and Cagayan de Oro City.
This tournament is co presented by the Datu Bago Lodge No.197 F.A&M and by the Sports Foundation of St Andrews(SFOSA).
