The three-day business summit held from November 7 to 9,2024 at the SMX Davao concluded with a golf tournament at the South Pacific Golf and Leisure Club.
Organizers had their hands full for the limited slots available on Saturday November 9,2024 but successfully accommodated the135 golfers including waitlisted individuals who answered the shotgun start at 8am for the System 36 format golf tournament.
“This golf fellowship is our simple way of veering away from the formalities on the summit meeting, renew friendship with our friends and partners/sponsors in the business. My special thanks to all of you golfers who made this possible” said Eric Manalastas, ICT Davao president.
Tournament Director Paul Garcia led the handling out of trophies for the winners at the Awarding ceremonies.
Addie Briones and Ricric Mise lead the winner’s circle by grabbing the Overall Net and Gross titles respectively. Briones aided by four birdies carded a net 68 while ex pro Mise had an even par 72 in taming the South Pac golf layout.
On the distaff side, Maricel Kim (86) and Ruby Sato (72) shared the limelight in bagging the Overall gross and Net title for the Ladies division respectively.
Geloy Antivo won via countback with his net 69 to top Class A Division over Oying Caturan who settled for runner up. Class B winners were led by Ronald Advincula with his net 71 who won also via countback over FTB’s Bates Bullecer.
For Class C division, Dan Escudero carded a net 73 to bag the net diadem over Prince Bustamante’s net 74.
Edwin Cayamanda’s net 69 aided by three birdies were enough to top the Seniors Division followed by Fred Albarillo’s net 72. Atty Ed Batacan carded a net 70 to top the Super Senior’s Division with Dennis Capa settling in for runner up with his 71.
